Axia is a full-service solar solution provider and is the direct-to-consumer division of solar panel manufacturer, Qcells. We support solar sales consultation, customer system design, financing, installation, and warranty resolution for the ongoing customer relationship. Q CELLS Home Energy Solutions, Axia by Qcells division, seeks an experienced solar Project Management professional to lead a team to take projects from the sales contract through the entire installation and post PTO process for Axia by Qcells. As the Director of Project Management, you will be responsible for delivering a world class customer experience by leading the fulfillment project teams in coordination with the Director of Field Operations and Sales Directors. Major responsibilities include perfect execution from site survey through system activation, engineering design, construction, inspection, as well as supporting best in class communication guidelines.  Collaboration with peers will ensure that the turnaround times are best in class. This is a key leadership position with the responsibility for building and scaling the solar support operations to match the growth of the business. The ideal candidate is an experienced professional with strong leadership, identifying opportunities in business processes, and is a problem solver. Experience in solar operations is a must. This position will be based in the Q CELLS North America headquarters in Irvine, CA, although remote options may also be available.

Responsibilties

    • Build and develop a high-performing team of solar obsessed professionals that will deliver a world class customer experience within timeframes that align with our commitments to our partners.
    • Collaborate with other key team members to set long-term operating strategy and vision
    • Develop a standard operating procedure suite for solar operations
    • Responsible for Customer Journey from Sale to Install including Survey, Design, Permit, Interconnection
    • Customer Satisfaction KPI
    • Quality and cycle times weekly reporting to senior management
    • Identifies and implements opportunities for continuous improvement
    • Review operational procedures and ensure conformance to industry best-practices
    • Analyze and monitor team performance to iteratively improve upon cycle times
    • Be a key strategic stakeholder in the development of new product rollouts.

Required Qualifications

    • 5+ years’ experience in solar operations management and analytics
    • Impeccable attention to detail
    • 10+ years’ experience in project management driving accountability and delivering a world class experience for homeowners.
    • Ability to exercise strong organizational, problem-solving and analytical skills
    • Excellent leadership, team development, people management and influencing skills at a senior level
    • Detailed analytical thinker with ability to recruit and lead quantitative talent
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to present credit management, vision and strategy in internal and external forums
    • Entrepreneurial mindset and demonstrated ability to thrive in a high-growth environment
    • Process driven while finding long-term solutions
    • Ability to translate business strategy into day to day delivery
