On behalf of our client we have an exciting opportunity for an EHS Technician to work as part of their EHS Team for their office implementing best practices and delivering a high standard working environment.

 

Job Description

  • Participating in the Employee Safety Committee and helping to direct the Committee's activities to ensure good engagement from employees.
  • Be hands-on with the local OHS program as well as support stakeholders globally.
  • Participate in weekly meetings to plan/prioritize workload,
  • Liaise with team regarding injury investigations, maintaining OHS tools and systems.
  • Establish and meet deadlines.
  • Collaborate with team members, clients, and other stakeholders.
  • Identify improvement opportunities for the program.
  • Provide regular status reports to your manager and other stakeholders.
  • Sort and archive documents in record retention database
  • Oversee data entry for new incident management tool.
  • Collaborate with Facilities group on incident investigations.
  • Oversee data transfer between old and new training databases and incident management databases.
  • Conducting risk assessments for job tasks.
  • Investigating incidents.
  • Assisting work teams to implement hazard controls

Qualifications

  • Graduate with 1-2 years of experience in project management.
  • Qualification in Occupational Health and Safety, EHS or equivalent

Additional Information

  • Possess strong cross team/group/org collaboration skills.
  • Proficient in analyzing data for trends, developing and executing effective professional communications, and adult learning.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and other Microsoft tools, or be able to learn to use them.
  • Proficient in the use of SharePoint.
