Responsibilities:

Responsible for driving a positive safety culture with the aim of achieving a ‘No Harm’ injury rate.
Maintain a supportive and collaborative relationship with the Singapore Regional EHS team and all Business Units on all EHS matters.
Responsible for ensuring the Company EHS Policy, Procedures and Programs are imbedded, understood and ensuring their effective utilization. e.g. Promote effective safety communication including the use of Tool Box Talks.
Responsible for the achieving of Company KPI safety targets, including the Company Sustainability goals.
Provide EHS oversight to ensure Company is compliant with all in-country Government and Company related requirements.
Actively engage and provide EHS technical support in the areas of engineering development, process improvements, pollution prevention, greenhouse gas, VOC, chemicals of concern, chemical processing, and contractor management to ensure safety in work processes.
Manage the annual Internal Audit Plan to ensure that all elements of the EHS MS are independently audited to assess compliance and identify opportunities for improvement. This includes external audits of the EHS MS.
Facilitate and co-ordinate the corrective action process to ensure that actions raised are effectively completed.
Review, track and analyze all hazards, near misses and incidents to ensure that suitable improvement actions are identified and taken.
Lead incident investigations, analyze the root causes, document the findings and implement effective improvement actions.
Manage and deliver internal safety training courses to improve safety understanding and behaviors.
Facilitate, co-ordinate and support a robust risk assessment process to ensure that all hazards associated with site activities are identified, assessed and appropriately controlled to minimize risk.
Ensure major Company's sustainability and KPI database is managed and accurately maintained, tracking and analyzing trends for improvement opportunities.
Ensure that a robust emergency response and incident management approach is in place, through the organization and co-ordination of evacuation drills.
Lead and drive EHS Safety Committee to proactively improve projects/activities.

Requirements:
BS degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, Health & Safety or related technical discipline. 

Must haves registration:
Workplace Safety and Health Officer registered with the Ministry of Manpower,
Fire Safety Manager Registered with SCDF

Must haves hands-on experence of more than three (3) years:
Implementing and sustaining ISO managements systems (such as ISO 45001, ISO 14001)
Implementing Environmental sustainability improvements

Must have attributes:
Meticulous and exhibit a high level of integrity
Able to work under pressure in a demanding environment
Able to work independently and a self-starter
Good communication, interpersonal, and team-working skills
Good working knowledge of MS Office applications.
