Monday - Thursday: 9 hours / Friday: 4 hours

Responsibilities

4Creeks is seeking a Senior Environmental Planner to work under the direction of a Department Manager on our Planning team. Responsibilities for this position would include: 

Conducting research, analyzing impacts, and writing sections of environmental reports.

Prepare documents within Central California with local jurisdictions.

Under CEQA compliance, prepare all or portions of Notice of Exemptions, Initial Studies, Negative and Mitigated Negative Declarations, Environmental Impact Reports (EIR's).

Prepare documents that are clear, concise, and well-written. Able to present information understandably and speak persuasively about topics to colleagues, clients, agency staff, teaming partners, and/or other project stakeholders and the public.

Prepare NEPA environmental documents.

This position primarily entails in-office work with the occasional field site visits.

Minimum Qualifications

1. The position requires a B.S. in Planning, Environmental Science, or related field.

2. Minimum of 8 years of experience.

3. The ideal candidate will have working knowledge in familiarity with the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) and National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA), and similar State and federal regulations required, exceptional written and oral communication skills.

4. Solid working knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook, and other related programs for CEQA/NEPA documentation.

5. Possess strong time management, team collaboration, and problem-solving skills.

Compensation

The salary will be determined by the candidates skill and experience level and highly competitive with industry standards. Benefits package includes full employee health coverage (50% coverage for dependents), company 401(k) contribution, participation in the Employee Stock Ownership Program (ESOP) and performance bonuses. The expected pay range for this position is $90,000 to $110,000 a year.
