Department Description:
 
The warehouse team supports the Parks Conservancy Interpretive Center and Sales Teams in stocking Park Visitor Centers with innovative products for sales that support the maintenance of the Golden Gate National Parks. In addition to supporting Conservancy retail operations, the warehouse team handles all Parks Conservancy online sales as well as wholesale offerings to external retail partners.
 
Position Overview:
 
This is a full-time (40 hours/week), benefitted position.
 
The Product Fulfillment Coordinator (PFC) is primarily responsible for assisting the warehouse team in its mission to support Visitor Center operations of the Golden Gate National Parks Conservancy. Reporting to the Assistant Warehouse Manager, the PFC is responsible for processing product fulfillment requests from Parks Conservancy Visitor Centers within the parks, online sales, and wholesale operations. Additional responsibilities include inventory management support, quality control audits, warehouse organization and upkeep, processing visitor center mail orders, and other duties as assigned.
 
The PFC position requires a current driver’s license in good standing as Park Visitor Center and wholesale deliveries will also be part of the PFC’s duties. The position also requires physical labor and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Previous forklift experience helpful, but training will be provided. Position is Full Time and will have a set schedule between the hours of 8:30am and 5:00pm, weekend shifts will be required. Shifts starting as early as 6:00am may be required.
 
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Accurate and timely receipt of shipments
  • Review of shipments and prompt reporting of any problems or discrepancies
  • Pulling and processing of stock transfer orders for Visitor Centers and between warehouses
  • Performing stock checks and inventory cycle counts
  • Assisting in annual physical inventory audit – counting upwards of 1,000 different SKUs
  • Assisting in pricing of product for retail sale
  • Reporting low inventory levels and damaged product to supervisor
  • Pulling and processing interdepartmental orders of uniforms, supplies, and products
  • Making deliveries to Visitor Centers and wholesalers using company cargo van or 16 FT box truck with liftgate.
  • Assist in the safe handling of inbound freight, unloading trucks and ocean containers
  • Working to maintain a clean and organized warehouse and work areas
  • Processing shipments via UPS Worldship, FedEx, and/or USPS applications for daily pick ups
  • Order Fulfillment: Accurate pulling, packing and shipping of online sales and wholesale orders
Vehicle Maintenance
  • As part of the delivery driving role, the PFC is responsible for pre-trip inspection of vehicles
  • Fueling vehicles using GSA Fuel Card
  • Coordinating with supervisor to service company van and truck
  • General cleaning
  • Adherence to company Covid protocols re: sanitization of vehicle after each use; wiping down steering wheel, gear shift, door handles, etc.  
  • Reporting any issues, warning lights or needed repairs to supervisor
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Experience in retail/warehouse environment helpful
  • Familiarity with general computer tasks and functions; MS Office, Outlook, etc.
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to excel in a fast paced and physically demanding environment
  • Proficiency in use of warehouse equipment, pallet jacks, forklifts, dollies, step ladders, etc.
  • Able to handle periods of performing repetitive tasks such as mass pricing of products and quality control inspections
  • Requires little supervision, able to budget time in completion of tasks and seek out new assignments
  • Professional Growth: The PFC will have access to on-the-job training via online learning courses to enhance their work-related skill set and capabilities

Licenses/Certifications: Valid and current class C driver’s license required. Forklift certification helpful but training can be provided.
