With the acquisition of Energy Systems business from Ascom, a Swiss company in 2003, and Eltek ASA, a Norwegian company in April 2015, Delta has inherited the excellent engineering resources and power design knowledge since 1906 and further development into telecom, industrial and medical markets.
It is a significant step forward in Delta’s ability to offer complex high-power solutions, a broader product portfolio and strengthened Delta's position in the European market.

We are looking for a Field Application Engineer for for Li-ion Battery Solutions for UPS Data Center and Telecom (48V)- market segments. Some of the main responsibilities:

• Support of sales teams and technical consultancy during RFQ phase.
• Preparation of technical documents – product management, data sheets, battery sizing calculation sheets, projects, tenders.
• Cooperation on product management – Li-ion cabinets (Data Centre), Li-ion modules (Telecom), BMS, connectivity, software.
• Cooperation with R&D in Taiwan for technical issues for Li-ion solutions.
• Integration of Delta Li-ion cabinet solutions with Delta- and third party- UPS systems.
• Presentation and demonstration of technical features and options to new, potential customers (Delta internal and ODM/OEM’s).
• Participation on FAT, SAT in UPS and Data Centre projects.
• Conducting technical trainings for end customers, service partners and own staff for installation, configuration of Li-ion cabinet solutions with Delta- and OEM/ODM- UPS systems.
• Conducting technical presentations to customers and Delta internal staff.

• Engineering degree in power electronics or similar field.
• Good knowledge of Li-ion battery solutions for UPS systems, BMS, Data Centre infrastructure.
• Good knowledge of Li-ion battery solutions for Telecom (48V) market segment
• Experience in project engineering processes and customer projects.
• Skilled in MS office tools.
• Fluency in the English language, Chinese language would be a pre.
• International mind-set and the willingness to travel to international customers in EMEA region.
