The Senior Pricing Analyst Position

Sunnova Energy is searching for a Senior Pricing Analyst to be responsible for driving the business forward by analysis of market data, the development of models to understand pricing and product mix scenarios, and variance reviews to compare actual vs. expected performance. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a track record of analyzing large data sets and using both Excel and statistical tools to distill and clearly communicate insights that management uses to make financial decisions driving revenue growth and profitability. 

Senior Pricing Analyst Responsibilities

    • Reviews and analyzes financial results vs forecasted projections
    • Builds complex Excel-based models to analyze pricing and product mix scenarios, including ROI evaluations
    • Works closely with the Portfolio Management team to analyze volume forecasts and derive projected profitability
    • Clearly communicates findings and provides actionable insights with easy-to-understand data tables, graphs, and reports
    • Researches and consolidates market and competitive data, identifying trends and opportunities, utilizing tools such as Excel, Salesforce, and Tableau
    • Performs ad hoc analyses in a time sensitive environment

Minimum Requirements

    • BS/BA degree in Finance or Data Analytics
    • 4+ years of financial and data analysis experience
    • Advanced Excel skills

Preferred Qualifications

    • Advanced degree (MBA or MS with a financial or data analysis emphasis)
    • Experience in an energy market
    • Deep experience with VBA (Excel), Salesforce and Tableau
