POSITION SUMMARY:
As Engineering Project Manager, you will be a critical part of the engineering of Lion Energy’s next generation of Energy Storage and Portable Power products. From research and design to implementation, you will be on the front lines of product development. You will work cross-functionally with each engineering team, and manage scope, priority, tasks, and more. 

RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:
  • Manage project tasks, scope, objectives, deliverables, and timelines for projects.
  • Communicate customer requirements, specifications, and budget constraints to cross-functional teams, including engineers, senior management, suppliers, and consultants.
  • Review daily development schedule and track problem reporting as needed.
  • Maintain risk registers and opportunity registers, specific to each company product.
  • Identify and implement process improvements within the company where necessary.
  • Assess causes of problems and provide technical support and direction to the project team to resolve issues.
  • Develop status reports, including project financials, ensuring project team is meeting customer requirements and measuring cost control.
  • Maintain project plan documents, procedures, and project deliverables.
  • Conduct presentations of technical information concerning specific projects/schedules, etc.
  • Fill communication gaps between the engineering teams and leadership.
  • Work hand in hand with Product Managers and Quality Assurance to ensure alignment on strategy and policy.
  • Assist in the management of larger and future projects/programs.
  • Recommend changes to policies that may affect another department (s).
  • May interact with senior management; frequently interact with middle management and individual contributor groups.
REQUIRED EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:
  • 3+ years of relevant experience
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering (mechanical or electrical), operations, or equivalent training
  • Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, and presentation) and ability to effectively communicate with leadership.
  • Familiarity with JIRA, Confluence, and other related tools.
  • Familiarity with PMP, PRINCE2, A-SPICE, and other frameworks.
