Maintenance Technician

Involved in optimising the performance of equipment, machineries to achieve better maintainability, reliability and availability of the machinery and equipment and also providing guidance on the usage of the equipment/usage and executing preventive, periodic and corrective maintenance.

Typical responsibilities may include but not limited to:
- Ensuring reliability engineering by reducing downtime with regular schedule of maintenance to retain the operating conditions of the equipment
- Assessing, optimising, applying, controlling and scheduling maintenance considering standards, guidelines, procedures towards environment, plant, unit and sustain and improve quality
- Assessing the risk, reviewing defects, defaults, incidents with root cause analysis providing solutions, rectifications, updates to the processes, procedures and guidelines to manage and control breakdowns and avoidance of issues
- Performing periodic maintenance and preventive maintenance to ensure the calibration, performance of the machinery is established and maintained as intended
