Summary
This position is located in Capulin Volcano National Monument with the Facilities Management Division. This position is being filled under the Field Unit Local Hiring Authority (FUL). See below under Additional Information for further eligibility guidance.
Major Duties
This position is a Career-Seasonal appointment. Career Seasonal appointments are permanent positions and include the same benefits as Career appointments, but do not provide work on a year-round basis. You will work from approximately March - November, and you will be in a non-pay status for the remainder of the year. This position performs the full range of custodial work including: Cleaning and servicing vault toilets, buildings, campgrounds, and emptying trash receptacles. Operating a government vehicle to perform assigned work. Provide general labor assistance to others in the maintenance of buildings, grounds, roads, trails, etc.... This is a uniformed position and must be able to occasionally interact with, and respond to, visitors, politely.
