Job Description

  • Focused to extend market position of HZI (from Business Development to Contract close)
  • Preparation and execution of customer and market related activities
  • Promotion and focus on products, projects and contracts which are in line with HZI’s corporate strategy and economic targets
  • Establishment and continuous care of relationship to existing and new customers, project partners, consultants, agents and RSC, prior and after sales
  • Proactive management of risk and opportunities in order to commercially and contractually optimize position of HZI in competitive environment
  • Preparation of budgetary offers in cooperation with the proposal team
  • Development of potential opportunities and acquisition of all relevant information for internal screening
  • Lead and overall responsibility over the proposal team and proposal project (technical und commercially) from tender invitation to contract close
  • Lead of customer or consortium contract negotiations in cooperation with the proposal team
  • Development of a marketing strategy within the delegated areas or products, as well as definition of measures for its successful implementation
  • Implementation of marketing measures with the support of the communication department
  • Current reporting over market activities via internal sales tool including assessment of projects and support in planning of resources
  • Active feedback on current technical trends and market position of HZI in terms of its products and offerings in order to secure future competitiveness
  • Triggering of research and/or development activities for establishment of new products and improved business and commercial processes at HZI
  • Cooperation and lobbying in associations or institutions relevant for market position of HZI
  • Support and development of the sales team
  • Is aware of the HSE requirements relevant to their role, and implements and complies with them

Qualifications

  • Very strong customer focus and excellent communication skills
  • Good knowledge of technical processes or products applied in Energy from Waste
  • Many years of experience in sales, proposal management or project execution in international product selling and complex plant construction projects
  • Profound understanding of commercial and contractual concepts applied in the products and plant construction business
  • In-depth knowledge of the market and its competitive forces, strategic alliances and partnerships
  • Identification and analysis of market trends, opportunities and risks
  • Promotes and secures long-term internal and external cooperation based on corporate values
  • Extensive and successful experience in contract negotiation with customers or partners
  • Experience in project-related leadership of different functions
