Legal counsel- Solar (F/H)

Founded in 2008, Photosol is a photovoltaic power producer, specialized in large-scale ground-mounted power plants. Today, the group has a portfolio in operation and under construction of nearly 900 MWp, consisting of some 60 plants, and a portfolio under development of 4.3 GWp.

As part of its international growth, Photosol group is building a all structure in Italy to achieve ambitious and exciting solar projects. The Legal counsel- Solar(F/H) will support the development department and the Country Manager on permitting process in full compliance with applicable laws.
The position is available as soon as possible.
🎯 MISSIONS
Within the italian structure, reporting to the Country Manager, the legal counsel will be in charge of :
- Supporting Development PV projects on permitting process in full compliance with applicable laws to get the ready to build status according to planned timing. This involve among others active participation to the project teams day to day activities, direct relationship with authorities, landowners and stakeholders’ management and support to country manager and development team in project steering;
- Maintaining up-to-date land contracts and documents according to internal policy;
- Reviewing, drafting, advising on land contracts and legal documents in general;
- Within acquisition process :
- To execute (directly and/or by managing external consultant) the legal check on the permitting and real estate topics of the project under pre-screening or DD providing legal gounded opinion supporting business decisions
- “To support transaction team according inputs of Country Manager and development team in drafting and or reviewing transaction related documents ( such as LoIs, NBOs, Bos, SPAs, etc…) ensuring a good coordination between the business needs and legal/risk management requirements”
- Monitoring the relevant regulatory frame developments and timely report to the rest of the company about expected or forecast changes that can impact the business in terms of risks and opportunities. Such activities will involve among other the participation on behalf of the company to regulatory related working groups within sector organization
- Dealing with general day to day operational legal enquiries from the business units/departments;
🎯 PROFILE
- At least 5 years of experience working on a legal department in renewables energy sector, preferably within the PV sector;
- Master’s degree in law;
- An adoptable mindset, good problem-solving ability and ability to build relationships due to ever changing conditions and the need to communicate with a variety of stakeholders;
- Fluent in Italian and in English;
- Good skills with the MS Office package in general;
