Our client in the Solar industry is currently looking for Solar Technician, in Randburg

Qualifications

• Matric
• Electrical trade test
• Wireman License Electrician
• Experience in solar panel installation, maintenance, and repair
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems and wiring
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints
• Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Must possess a valid driver's license
• A certification in photovoltaic (PV) systems would be an advantageous

Some duties

• The Solar Technician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing solar panel systems.
• The Solar Technician will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business opportunities and provide customized solutions for clients.
• Conduct site assessment
• System designing / Technical drawings / Circuit diagrams
• Solar & Electrical Installations & supervisory role for residential and commercial Projects • System Monitoring & provide technical consultations to Clients
• Training of staff
• After service & Fault findings
