Negotiable base payrate upon interview. SUMMARY OF POSITION Responsible for warmly greeting every guest at the front door as they walk in. Before service, reading every reservation to pass on any dietary restrictions or celebration occasions for any of our guests. Guest notes to make sure the experience is personalized as possible. Qualifications: Minimum of 2 years’ experience in fine dining. High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Ability to provide top-notch guest service in a demanding environment. A positive attitude and ability to work well under pressure with all restaurant staff. Does high-quality work while unsupervised. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES AM Opening: Check music volume (20.5) BEHIND BAR MASTER ONLY Sweep carpets Put back door carpet out Turn on candles Light candle Check “reservations”/waitlist Put sign out @ 11:30am Brunch menus out (only on sat/sun) (brunch stops at 3) PM Closing: Dim lights to circled stickers (mid shift/ 5pm) Check music volume (lower if needed) Wipe host stand Check “reservations”/waitlist Wipe fingerprints on iPad Check menus Sweep PDR stairs Sweep main stairs Sweep back stairs Windows Vacuum carpets Refill sanitizer and table cleaner Restock crayons if needed Candles off Bring sign in @ close To go restock (salsa/silverware/napkins) PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS NECESSARY TO PERFORM THIS JOB Walk/stand and be on your feet for an extended period. Repeat the same movements. Use your hands to manage, control, feel objects and tools. Lift between 25 and 50 pounds. Speak clearly so listeners can understand. See details of objects that are less than a few feet away. Be physically active for extended periods of time without getting tired or out of breath. TOOLS AND EQUIPMENT USED Employee must be able to use: Basic computer skills. Basic writing and communication skills.
