Your new role

As our new Team Leader in our Carbon Capture Centre of Competence you will be forming a team of experts to deliver projects, taking a Project Manager role as needed, and supporting the staffing and management of projects.  An important part of the role of this high performing group is Thought Leadership, – internally and externally - within your designated geography.

 

Your key responsibilities

  • To establish and grow a team of experts to deliver projects in the field of carbon capture.
  • To act as a line manager for your team, overseeing their contribution to the projects, and mentoring them to develop their skills and expertise.
  • To act as a senior consultant within the area and support the Centre’s position as thought leader in- and outside of Ramboll.
  • Providing project management oversight to a high performing team of technical specialists, providing leadership and support throughout all stages from enquiry, tendering, resource mobilisation, delivery, and handover.
  • Acting as a project manager managing project performance, ensuring objectives are met within scope, time, quality and budget.
  • Proactively engaging in business development activity, forging strong client relationships and positioning Ramboll as a trusted advisor to our clients.

You will join our global Carbon Capture team, where Carbon Capture Utilization and Storage (CCUS) is an important part of the Green Energy Transition and CCUS is defined as an area of strategic importance for us. You will collaborate with a vibrant and passionate team of local and international colleagues and play a critical role in defining and delivering projects that involve multiple clients in countries across the globe.

 

About you

  • Significant and measurable experience in Carbon Capture or adjacent industrial fields, in a technical consultancy, technology vendor or hard-to-abate industrial sectors with formal line management responsibilities.
  • A PhD or MSc degree within a relevant scientific/technical/ engineering field.
  • Strong technical acumen, professional experience, and relevant domain knowledge.
  • Project management experience from a similar role; dealing with ambiguity, opportunities, and risks.
  • Customer-oriented, characterized by a self-reliant, reliable, and structured way of working.
  • Intercultural competence and international experience, with fluent language skills in Swedish and English
