You will be responsible for

Evaluating safety systems for battery and high voltage components
Finding new safety solutions for the next generation of high voltage battery systems to increase active and passive safety
Designing the layout of battery and high voltage vehicle infrastructure to ensure reliability and compliance with current regulations
Applying knowledge derived from field issues to prevent future incidents
Supporting homologation department to prepare our batteries for future law compliance
Supporting issue solving during development and from field claims
Operating of battery test facilities within our HMETC test field and developing testing methods
Cooperating closely with other HMETC departments and R&D Center in Namyang (South Korea) and handing over all related information with precision and accurate wording

Who we are looking for

Degree in electrical /mechanical/ automotive engineering
First experience in automotive battery design and control system development
Highly motivated to work in the area of high voltage BEV & (P)HEV development
Openness to deep dive into the area of electrified powertrain development
Willingness to travel and valid European driving license B
Excellent analytical skills as well as a problem solving mentality
A very good command of English, intercultural & communication skills
Proficient in presenting, reporting and handling Microsoft applications like PowerPoint and Excel
University graduates welcomed for application
