Job Description:

Solar resource assessment for new & existing sites, estimation of generation

 Analyse the field measurement data of irradiance and weather at a site and build the correlation of the short
term weather behaviour and the long-term pattern
 Utilize all necessary tools, database or field test data to confidently assess solar resource for a specific project site
 Model a variety of PV systems including the ground mounted fixed tilt, seasonal tilt, the trackers, etc, in order to
accurately predict the energy production for different time scales
 Analyse historic solar farm data to find opportunities for performance improvement.
 Analyse operational data to verify actual plant output, availability, and performance ratio, and identify reasons
for variances.
 Analyse historic maintenance data to optimise future maintenance strategies.
 Building tools/systems to automate or improve the O&M reporting procedure.
 Provide support to financial modelling, business decision-making and BOS selection
 Interface with and manage external consultants.
