Leap29 have a fantastic new opportunity for a Project Developer to join a growing Renewable Energy Company in the US.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the development of wind and solar projects across the US, following guidance from senior leadership and coordinating with an external team of subject matter experts.
• Conduct market and renewable energy program research to identify unique opportunities aligning with the company's broader strategy.
• Manage project budgets, schedules, and reports.
• Support the enhancement of development and project management tools, processes, and standard operating procedures.
• Contribute to potential project acquisitions, involving assistance in due diligence, valuation analysis, and collaboration with external consultants for transaction execution.
• Assist in project- and corporate-level financings.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Possesses a minimum of 1 year of experience in the energy industry.
• Demonstrates strong communication, organizational, and relationship management skills.
• Preference for experience in energy development.

Other:

• Remote position (Preference for Denver, CO, and New York, NY).
• Role involves 1-2 weeks of travel per quarter (project dependent).
