Organization Description:
Since 1981, the Golden Gate National Parks Conservancy (Parks Conservancy) has served as the nonprofit partner of the National Park Service, collaborating with the Presidio Trust, partners, donors, and the community to support the Golden Gate National Recreation Area (GGNRA). The GGNRA stretches across three Bay Area counties north and south of the Golden Gate Bridge and includes iconic places such as Muir Woods National Monument, Fort Point National Historic Site, Alcatraz Island, Crissy Field, Mori Point, Lands End, and the Presidio of San Francisco.

Department Description:
Position Overview:
Manager I, Alcatraz Cellhouse Tour is responsible for Cell House Tour (CHT) operations during the evening program. Manager I will ensure efficient operations and closing procedures, provide enhanced visitor service levels through the development of a service-oriented staff to 800 visitors per night mid-March through early November and 300 visitors per night from early November through mid-March. Manager I will also provide transitional support between Day program and Evening program alongside daytime managers and supervisors.

Physical Requirements:
Salary/Benefits: This is an exempt position that falls under pay grade 14 with a salary of $70,000 per year. Benefits include a competitive suite of medical, dental, and vision plans, 3 weeks paid vacation to start, one week of personal days; plus, holiday and sick days, 403(b) retirement plan, Employer-match Commuter Program, Employee Assistance Program, Employee discounts and more.
