Freedom Solar Power is looking for a Senior Commercial Project Manager to join our team! You will play a critical part in the solar installation processes to ensure a smooth customer experience. You will manage a pipeline of commercial solar projects. Your focus will primarily be on the design, procurement, and construction processes. You will be assisted by a project coordinator who will focus on the interconnection and permitting processes. You will frequently interact with customers, suppliers, and other stakeholders both internal and external. The right Commercial Project Manager is reliable, has a successful record of meeting deadlines (with no excuses!), is organized, can handle high-volume customer accounts, and is a team player! Must be fast-paced and have a sense of urgency.
Essential Functions and Duties:
- Giving updates to customers.
- Supporting the project coordinators with technical knowledge.
- Working with suppliers to ensure equipment is in stock and coordinate shipping.
- Managing any and all active construction projects that are in your pipeline.
- Documenting progress in the project management tool and communicating to the operations management team.
- Collaborating on special projects.
- Working on additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- 1-2 years Project Manager experience strongly preferred.
- Prior solar/construction experience in a customer service/account capacity highly preferred.
- Adobe Acrobat and Microsoft Office experience (including Excel and Word).
