The Senior Analyst, FP&A - Standard Solar (reporting to the Director, FP&A, Standard Solar), will be responsible for the modeling and preparation of fair value financial information for Standard Solar, the consolidated model for annual planning and budgeting, and fund valuation models. This position will be based in the company's Rockville, MD office, with candidates expected be in-person 5 days a week.

Responsibilities:

· Develop and update the platform consolidated financial models:

· Corporate model for budgeting and valuation purposes;

· Property Plant and Equipment valuation and audit process (IFRS);

· Fund valuation of the different assets according to ownership, and evaluate returns per quarter;

· Liaise and collaborate with a broad range of cross-functional subject matter experts to obtain valuation assumptions, assess impacts and run sensitivity/scenario analysis;

· Assist Treasury in developing and updating monthly Capital plans to monitor near-term and long-term liquidity requirements;

· Support the capital markets team in specific modeling projects (rating agency relationships, covenant ratios calculation, etc.);

· Assist in the preparation of organized presentations targeted at senior management, and;

· Provide ad hoc support to FP&A and other groups within Standard Solar and Brookfield Renewables.

· Provide support to the Director, FP&A in various related activities and projects.

Requirements:

· Undergraduate degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Engineering;

· Demonstrable experience in a modeling role;

· Min 3 years of accounting and/or financial planning and analysis experience;

· Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint;

· Experience with Onestream and/or MS D365 systems (or similar) would be a plus;

· Strong knowledge of IFRS and/or US GAAP would be an asset, and;

· Experience in renewable energy or distributed generation would be a plus.

Qualifications:

· Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience in preparing materials for senior management;

· Solid analytical skills, strategic thinking, and decision-making ability;

· Ability to collaborate across departments and with external stakeholders;

· Strong attention to detail; working in a conscientious, consistent, and thorough manner;

· Ability to effectively operate independently with high energy and flexibility in a fast-paced, constantly evolving team environment, and;

· Comfortable performing multifaceted projects in conjunction with day-to-day activities.
