Relationship Manager Collection Sales Position

 

OUR COMPANY:  HELPSY is a proud B Corp, PBC, and the region’s largest 2nd hand clothing collection company. We are leading the way in keeping clothing out of the trash & our landfills, but we need your help! Working with us helps accomplish this mission while supporting hundreds of our nonprofit partners including churches, schools, and veteran and community organizations. We also work with municipalities & environmental groups to provide fundraising through textile collections in an environmentally sustainable effort. 

 

THE ROLE:  Relationship Manager - Outside Sales - New York State

Every day will be a new and exciting opportunity to showcase your skills in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

 

Responsibilities:

  • B2B Outside Regional Sales

  • Generate sales, build sales leads, maintain sales accounts 

  • Place textile collection bins, fundraise with clothing collection initiatives 

  • Attend municipal and community collection events

  • Maintain accurate records & SalesForce CRM

  • Daily customer and community outreach

Required Qualifications:

  • Ability to work in the United States

  • Reside in NY within 35 miles of NYC 

  • Reside in NY with easy access to Westchester, White Plains & Long Island

  • 3+ years of outside sales experience

  • Must have a valid driver's license + reliable transportation (car/SUV/truck)

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent sales experience

  • B2B outside sales experience focused on new account generation

  • Strong sales-closing abilities

  • Strong presentation & customer-relationship skills

  • Excellent oral & written communication skills

  • Detail & goal oriented

  • Proficient with: CRMs, Google Suites, technology
