About the Role

Monford Group have a number of current and upcoming Project Manager positions delivering renewable energy projects across Australia. As a Project Manager you will be responsible for the day-to-day project operations as well as the engineering, procurement, project controls and construction ensuring work is completed safety, according to design, on time and within budget.

Core Role Competencies:

  • Accountable for the successful outcome of solar PV EPC(M) projects from financial close through commissioning, energisation, and handover
  • Lead and guide the project team to complete the project in accordance with the Contract Documentation and Company standards and procedures.
  • Value and manage variations, liaise with client, contract administrator and other relevant parties.
  • Suggest innovative and cost-effective methods and improvements to productivity and profitability.
  • Ensure project drawings and specifications are controlled and that obsolete copies are withdrawn.
  • Assemble and control project personnel, instigate operational, functional and management control processes to achieve objectives in accordance with Company policies and practices.
  • Liaise with other Company staff; prepare reports of high complexity, monitor and control.

About You

To be successful in this position, you will hold relevant tertiary qualifications and have a proven track record as a project management professional with at least 10 years’ experience in a similar role delivering projects exceeding $50m.

You will also be able to demonstrate your strong communication, influencing and negotiation skills as well as your advanced understanding of industry standards and best practice. In addition, you will be a strong leader with the ability to support, mentor and develop your team.

These roles will be project based, across Western Australia and Eastern States with varying rosters available (FIFO/DIDO/Residential).
