What will you be doing? 

As a Battery Management Systems Engineer, you will join Milton Keynes team to support our activities within the Automotive. 

Your main responsibilities will be: 

Who are we looking for? 

• Review high-level battery requirements and translate them into Battery Management System-level specifications.
• Possess a strong understanding of Battery Management Systems functionalities, including hardware and software components, EV topologies, and system architecture.
• Create and manage tasks related to Verification and Validation (V&V), including the development of Design Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (DFMEA).
• Provide support to Functional Safety and Cybersecurity teams, collaborating to ensure the safety and security of Battery Management Systems.
• Systems effectively monitors warranty-related data such as State of Health (SoH), State of Power (SoP), and battery life counters.

Experience, skills and qualifications required: 

• Degree in the relevant engineering field.
• 5+ years of experience in Battery Management System (BMS) design, development, or testing, preferably in the automotive or electric vehicle industry.
• Problem-solving skills and the ability to apply methodologies to address technical challenges effectively.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Knowledge of Functional Safety and Cybersecurity principles is a plus.
