Battery Cell Engineer - Li Metal
Avesta Battery & Energy Engineering (ABEE) offers an exciting job opportunity in battery research & development. We seek a Battery Cell Engineer – Li Metal to work in our R&D team to help us bring ABEE battery cell technology to the next level. The R&D team at ABEE focuses on research & development of next-generation battery technologies, cell prototyping, testing, and post-mortem characterization of battery cells.
Key responsibilities
Leading the engineering efforts to develop the next generation lithium metal anode
Testing electrochemical, chemical, and physical properties of Li metal anodes
Study the relationship between Li metal anode and battery cell performance
Collaborate closely with other team members to develop core technologies
Preparation of technical reports and presentations
Assist the prototyping team with the upscaling of Li metal anodes
Experience & Qualifications
Degree in Chemistry, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, or a related engineering field
5 years of experience in the manufacturing of Li metal anodes or development of Li-metal batteries, including cell assembly and validation
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail and organizational skills
Communicative skills in an interdisciplinary and international work environment
