Job Duties: The Electrical Engineer utilizes experience in AutoCAD; CRM software (such as Salesforce or similar); Google Suite, Microsoft Office Suite, or similar software; and Solar Design Software, such as Aurora or similar. The Electrical Engineer will be responsible for designing electrical systems for solar installation projects; using computer-aided design technologies to develop sketches, drawings, and construction documents; reviewing drawings and documents to assure compliance with company design and production standards; assisting the CAD team in evaluation proposals; adhering to accepted industry and company standards; planning, scheduling, coordinating, and directing electrical engineering projects; working with equipment suppliers/vendors to obtain the necessary information needed for design completion; and ensuring acceptable levels of quality and checks for coordination of work to assure documents reflect design intent and necessary coordination. Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree (or foreign equivalent) in Electrical Engineering (or the foreign equivalent) plus one (1) year of post-baccalaureate experience designing electrical systems. One year of professional experience in each of the following: AutoCAD; a CRM Software (Salesforce or similar); Google Suite, Microsoft Office Suite, or similar software; and Solar Design Software, such as Aurora or similar.
