Share Email Opening Apply Now Title Solar Electrician  Open Date 10/5/2023   Category Skilled Trades   Position Solar Electrician   Description Essential Job Functions Install photovoltaic (PV) systems on roofs and landscapes across all of Solar Holler's service area (WV, southern OH, eastern KY, northern VA) Install and commission remote monitoring software. Responsible for diligently tracking and uploading panel level monitoring data. Communicate effectively with customers and staff regarding the status of each job   Position Requirements Job Qualifications Maintain a Valid Driver’s License and be able to meet all Insurance Company criteria Strong belief in Solar Holler’s mission of re-powering Appalachian communities with renewable energy Outstanding communication, customer service and follow-up skills Professionally represent the company to clients Work remotely and independently Possess a West Virginia Master or Journeyman Electrical License (a plus if licensed in other States) - preferred, not required A minimum of 2-4 years actual electrical field experience High school diploma or equivalent Construction, electrical, roofing, or solar industry experience a plus Ability to travel and stay overnight when required, throughout our service and installation areas of West Virginia, Kentucky, Maryland, and Ohio Physical Requirements Ability to perform physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and performing job functions at heights. Ability to ascend and descend a ladder. Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds individually. Comfortable working at heights, on ladders, and on steep rooftops, and in varying weather conditions.
