The Project Engineer is responsible for supporting the successful execution of BESS projects. Reporting to the Manager of Engineering and Execution, the Project Engineer works closely with the engineering and execution team and is involved in various project-related activities.

What does a Project Engineer do at Fluence?

    • Assist in the development of project plans, schedules, and budgets. 
    • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to gather project requirements. 
    • Conduct feasibility studies, technical analyses, and design reviews. 
    • Prepare engineering drawings, specifications, and project documentation. 
    • Monitor project progress and identifying risks and issues. 
    • Support the coordination of project deliverables and milestones. 
    • Provide technical support to the construction and installation teams. 

What does the ideal candidate look like?

    • BS in engineering, preferred electrical, PE preferred 
    • 5+ year experience in an engineering role 
    • Strong project management skills 
    • Technical expertise in BESS technologies
    • Attention to detail in documentation and design reviews 
    • Effective communication and collaboration abilities 
    • Ability to adapt to changing project requirements
