Keep area clean and free from debris. Inspect and remove contaminates from all outgoing loads of product. Visually identify different types of metal and non-metal contaminates. Assist in general maintenance and cleanup of the entire facility. Use a variety of hand tools and machines such as forklifts, skid-steers, power drills, grinders, hammers, wrenches, shovels, brooms, and pressure washers (On the job training for these items is available). Adhere to all company policies and procedures. Other duties as assigned by the manager. Qualifications: Knowledge of Safety/OSHA guidelines and adherence for your safety and others. Must have the willingness to go the extra mile learning the scrap metal recycling industry. Metals knowledge preferred, but not required. Ability to understand and carry out written and oral instructions, work independently and multitask. Ability to meet attendance schedule with dependability and consistency. Flexible to work off hours, overtime, and weekends, in an industrial environment which may include being outdoors in all weather conditions. Ability to walk on uneven work surfaces. Must be able to lift 50 lbs., bend, stretch, stand for extended periods of time, climb stairs, reach, twist, sit, walk, and/or run. Must be willing to cross-train in various positions, be self-motivated, possess good work ethics and have the ability to work with a team. Must have reliable transportation to work. Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen test, background check and fit-for-duty test if needed. Safety: This position requires the following personal protective equipment be worn at all times: Safety glasses. Head protection. Hard toed work boots. High visibility safety vest. Other protective equipment as required.   Work Environment: The work environment is: Primarily outdoors Occasionally loud (in excess of 90dB)   Location Allegany   Full-Time/Part-Time Full-Time   Pay Range $17-19   Shift Various Shifts   Exempt/Non-Exempt Non-Exempt   This position is currently not accepting applications.
