JOB SUMMARY: This position is in the Office of Chemical Safety and Pollution Prevention (OCSPP), Office of Pesticide Programs (OPP), Antimicrobials Division (AD), Regulatory Management Branch 1. About: OCSPP This is an office-centered position--you must physically report to the duty station stated in this announcement on a regular basis. Work-from-home flexibilities may be authorized as described in the Benefits section. MAJOR DUTIES: You will: Provide leadership in support of environmental policy decision-making to management and Product Management Team members; Provide advice, guidance, and support for the implementation and development of regulatory decisions, national guidelines, regulations, policies and procedures related to the use of antimicrobials, and other regulatory or special projects related to the registration and re-evaluation of antimicrobials; Serve as a technical authority on all regulatory actions for ingredients and be considered an EPA authority when dealing with representatives of other agencies, industry special interest groups, and the public regarding antimicrobial pesticides; Lead project teams and advise the branch, committees, and workgroups in the Office of Pollution Prevention on significant issues related to human health and the environment. You will spend less than 25% of your work time on contracts, grants/cooperative agreements, and/or interagency agreements.
