JOB SUMMARY: This position is in the Office of Chemical Safety and Pollution Prevention (OCSPP), Office of Pesticide Programs (OPP), Antimicrobials Division (AD), Immediate Office (IO). About: OCSPP This is an office-centered position--you must physically report to the duty station stated in this announcement on a regular basis. Work-from-home flexibilities may be authorized as described in the Benefits section. MAJOR DUTIES: You will: Provide regulatory and risk management expertise for the implementation and development of regulatory decisions, national guidelines, regulations, policies, and procedures related to the use of registration and re-evaluation of antimicrobials, pesticidal devices and other regulatory or special projects; Develop new regulatory policies and guidance related to pesticides and pesticidal devices; Serve/lead the Devices and FIFRA Jurisdiction (DFJ) workgroup including coordination with regions on enforcement issues and review of device determinations; Serve as representative on Agency, interagency and other policy/technical/scientific committees of national and international importance. You will spend less than 25% of your work time on contracts, grants/cooperative agreements, and/or interagency agreements.
