JOB SUMMARY: This position is located in Grand Teton National Park, within the Facility Management Division. Open to the first 50 applicants or until 10/02/2023 whichever comes first. MAJOR DUTIES: Duties include: Supports the facility management division through a full range of activities related to the operation of the Facility Management Software System (FMSS) and the Financial and Business Management System (FBMS) including conducting data quality review, location and asset record creation and updates, completing condition assessments, and developing work orders and cost estimates in the Cost Estimating Software System (CESS). Develops facility management projects using FMSS data and prepares funding request through the Project Management Information System (PMIS) and updates PMIS with status and completion reports. Serves as Subject Matter Expert providing technical support, assistance, and training to park users in FMSS, CESS, PMIS, FBMS, fleet management, and other related systems. Responds to request from WASO, Regional Office, Park management, and other partners for reports, updates, and analysis of FMSS, FBMS, PMIS, and fleet related data. Serve as a Contracting Officer Representative (COR) on select service, supply, or construction contracts. (GS-9) Duties will be developmental in nature when filled below the full performance level. Physical Demands: The work is primarily sedentary. Visits to job sites or travel to conferences may be required. Occasional hiking, climbing or crawling to perform asset inspections may be required. Work Environment: The work is normally performed in an office setting. Travel to various site locations within the park to perform asset inspections may be required. The park encompasses the Teton Range and broad valley of Jackson Hole.
