JOB SUMMARY: This position is located in Denver Service Center, in the Planning Division. MAJOR DUTIES: - Serves as a project manager and reports directly to one of four branch managers within the National Park Service Denver Service Center Planning Division. - Leads and coordinates multi-disciplinary planning teams and supports overall facilitation of planning processes for a diverse array of NPS planning including National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) compliance documents (i.e., wilderness plans, development concept plans, front country plans, trail plans), strategic plans, and other planning efforts. - Integrates best practices for public health, and justice, equity, diversity, and inclusion into all projects. - Serves as the primary point of contact with parks, regions, and program centers and demonstrates proficient collaboration and communication skills with both internal partners and the public. - Responsible for managing scope, schedule and budget associated with planning processes and ensuring project compliance and quality assurance.
