All Temperature Air and Solar (ATAS), Southern California’s premiere HVAC provider, is currently seeking an HVAC Estimator. Successful candidates will be professional, knowledgeable, driven and eager to make their mark by helping our company grow.

Essential Job Functions Include:

• Ability to prepare comprehensive, competitive labor and materials estimates for both residential and commercial HVAC projects
• Ability to conduct research to ensure accuracy of all estimates
• Ability to recognize cost-saving opportunities and provide alternative options, when needed
• Ability to understand and create estimates from blueprints, specifications, proposals and related documents
• Ability to improve job costs through negotiation with vendors and subcontractors
• Ability to provide technical and/or estimating support during project design and proposal phases
• Ability to perform on-site data collection to improve the accuracy of all estimates
• Ability to work well with customers, presenting final proposals in a professional manner
• Ability to establish and maintain relationships with prime contractors

Education and/or Experience

• Previous experience in HVAC Estimation or related field
• Ability to understand blueprints, specifications, proposals and other estimation-related documentation
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office software, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook
• Used on screen take off programs
• Professional manner and ability to create well-ordered, accurate estimates
• Associates or Bachelor’s Degree in construction-related field a plus
