Your mission

• Enjoy being the catalyst for growing our relationship with our network of customers while undertaking service tasks with excellence
• Install our systems on-site at the customer's location, put them into operation and provide training to the customer on their operation, using training materials
• Understand and empathize with the customer's requirements, bringing feedback to the company internally for continual improvement
• Handle remote and on-site service calls for metrology systems worldwide
• Conduct error analyses in service cases and be responsible for repairs or initiate them (in close collaboration with our distributors and service partners in China, Singapore, South Korea, and India)
• Create error analysis reports for documentation purposes and evaluate them in cooperation with colleagues internally
•  Actively participate in creating and maintaining service and installation instructions and protocols
•  Develop new service concepts and service models to continuously improve our service
•  Support the development department in planning and executing system tests
•  Be an integral part of sales activities by understanding customer requirements and incoming opportunities

Your background

• Experience in installing, maintaining and commissioning mechatronic systems, preferably in the electronics or solar industry
• Completed engineering degree, technician qualification, or equivalent qualification in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, mechatronics or renewable energy
• Willingness to travel extensively (inter)nationally
• Fluent German and English language skills
• Quick comprehension and a strong focus on results and solutions
• Loyal personality with strong communication skills, persuasiveness and a holistic perspective
• Naturally bring WAVELABS’ culture of excellence to the customer site
• Ability to see the opportunity in obstacles, using good time management skills and task prioritization during busy periods
