Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and fix issues on residential and commercial jobs.
  • Install electrical service equipment, wiring, and devices required for the installation of residential and commercial solar PV systems (requires working on sloped roofs)
  • Knowledge of electrical systems, AC & DC including trouble shooting, wiring and assembly.
  • Able to read and interpret Electrical line drawings
  • Ensure electrical systems meet company standard job specifications, the National Electrical Code, and other relevant local codes
  • Assist in job safety and overall crew support including staging materials, general site work support, as well as site preparation and clean up
  • Keep service van stocked and serviced properly
  • Coordinate and communicate with electrical inspectors on projects
  • Correspond professionally with homeowners
  • Provide regular updates of job status, complete necessary paperwork and photos
  • Willingness to travel to remote job locations.
  • Must be proficient in the use of smart phones/tablets.
  • Work independently in a fast-paced environment.

 

    Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Exemplary customer service skills
    • Ability to troubleshoot electrical installation projects
    • Strong organizational, time management, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills
    • Must be able to lift 75 pounds repeatedly, climb ladders, work on sloped roofs in all weather conditions and stand for two hours.
    • High school diploma or equivalent
    • Valid driver’s license – CDL preferred
    • Must be eligible to work in the U.S.
    • Must participate in a background check and drug screening
    • National Electrical Code (NEC) knowledge required
    • Residential/Commercial solar installation experience preferred
    • OSHA 10 Certified preferred
