CFO (Solar Energy business)

Client Information:
Our client is a MAI listed company in Solar Power Energy business and services where keep growing in Thailand for more than 20 years. They are looking for CFO position to be responsible for the following details.

Report to: CEO
No of subordinates: Around 20 people

Key Responsibilities:

To oversee all financial aspects of the company's operations, managing financial resources, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.

This role involves providing strategic financial leadership, optimizing the company's financial performance, and contributing to the achievement of its business objectives.

Job Description:

• Financial Strategy and Planning to be aligned with the company's overall business goals and provide insights into financial trends, risks, and opportunities to support informed decision-making by the executive team
• Financial Reporting and Analysis to provide actionable recommendations for improving profitability, cost management, and operational efficiency
• Oversee the company's accounting operations and ensure adherence to accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and internal controls.
• Manage the company's tax strategy and compliance, minimizing tax liabilities while ensuring adherence to tax laws and regulations and coordinate with external tax advisors to optimize tax planning and reporting.
• Financial Risk Management: To identify, assess, and manage financial risks such as currency fluctuations, interest rate changes, and market volatility and develop risk mitigation strategies to protect the company's financial stability.
• Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting process, collaborating with department heads to allocate resources effectively.
• Evaluate investment opportunities and make recommendations on capital allocation to drive growth and shareholder value.
• Treasury and Cash Management: To manage the company's cash flow, liquidity, and working capital requirements to ensure smooth operations
• Optimize investment strategies and financing options to maximize returns and minimize costs.

Qualifications:

• Thai native speaker
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
• Proven experience as a CFO in small to medium size company in MAI or experience as a Head of Finance in medium to large size company in SET**
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities and experience in managing cross-functional teams.
• Must have experience in monitoring around 15-20 subordinates
• Very good command in English
