Your role
The role of the Battery Systems Engineer is vital in the development process of the Munich Electrification battery management systems. In close collaboration with the management team and technical experts, you are developing all technical aspects of our next generation of products. As a Battery Systems Engineer, you define the system design, based on your extensive knowledge of EV components as well as on customer requirements and international standards. Your job is to craft the system concept including functional safety aspects and hardware and software architecture. As a result of that, the system level requirements are written by the Battery Systems Engineer. Doing this you contribute significantly to a clever, generic platform design which can applied to various battery systems from electric hyper cars up to heavy duty vehicles.
Since we are a small team, you are working hands-on with the actual product through all phases of development. You manage the development project inside our organization to ensure appropriate implementation and validation in our hardware and software teams.
