Job Description

Siter-Neubauer & Associates is currently conducting a search for Superintendent:

 

Leads People

  • Coordinates, plans, and supervises project field activities with foremen, assistant superintendents, and contractors.
  • Conducts performance evaluations of foremen, general foremen, and assistant superintendents.
  • Mentors and manages team members, time management, and developing client relationships.
  • Fosters strong teamwork orientation and be a resource for valuing and promoting diversity.


Drives Business Results

  • Maintains liaison with other functions to ensure all required material, equipment, and inspections support the project schedule.
  • Coordinates plans and specifications with design engineers, clarifying any discrepancies.
  • Partners with the project manager(s) during the construction phase to budget, manage, and forecast.

 

Develops Talent

  • Coaches, mentors, and trains field personnel, foremen and assistant superintendents.
  • Develops leaders through active career sponsorship, and provides the right responsibilities and work assignments to cultivate growth.
  • Supports and encourages team member career learning and development.

 

Champions Customer Service

  • Creates and fosters a project team culture of far superior service to the customer.
  • Maintains relationships with customers, architects, union representatives, subcontractors, etc.

 

Builds for the Future

  • Identify opportunities for performance improvement and process design.
  • Achieves consistent outstanding results.
  • Manages site work and logistics efficiently, looking for ways to improve.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma
  • Four year college degree in one of the following: Construction Engineering, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architectural Engineering, or equivalent preferred or equal experience
  • Computer skills in Microsoft Office
  • Four years supervision experience and 10 years construction experience
