We are constantly growing and are currently looking for a qualified Senior Cost- Control Engineer to join our top qualified and knowledgeable Operations Control team in our project in Laayoune, Morocco.

What you will need to do:

• Monitor cost performance, follow and assist in the preparation of budget forecast and current estimate.
• Preparation of claims and variations including pricing.
• Preparing Cost Breakdown Structure (CBS) and establishing Project Cost Centers.
• Transforming the Tender Estimate into Project First Budget.
• Ensures that costs are properly allocated to relevant Cost Centers.
• Review and consolidate the projects internal reporting.
• Review the projects external reporting and provide comments.
• Drafts project-specific Cost Control Procedures if the contract so requires.
• Follow and implement the established Project Controls’ processes as well as Company’s policies and procedures.
• Develop training material for Project Controls functions and systems and lead training sessions.
• Risk Management: Identify, communicate risks, response plans and assess the cost impact.
• Provide recommendations for improvement regarding cost and schedule performance.
• Monitors project actual costs, determine and analyze cost variances and develop cost trends and projections using and presenting the Budgeted Cost for Work Scheduled, Budgeted Cost for Work Performed, Actual Cost for Work Scheduled, Actual Cost for Work Performed and Cost Performance Index.
• Preparing cost reports or providing the necessary information for such reports.
• Liaises with project different sections in cost allocation, accounting and control matters.
• Participates in preparing the Project Close-Out Report and Lessons Learnt.

What you will need to have:

• BSc degree in Engineering (Civil/Marine)
• Min. ten (10) years working experience in cost control with reputed organization
• Knowledge or strong understanding of key Cost control, Budgeting, Pricing & Estimation concepts 
• EPC Contracting and / or overseas experience would be considered a major advantage
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Primavera and AutoCAD are highly welcomed
• Fluency in English language
