Job Descriptions:

Develop and keep up to date GARs carbon “war room”, including GARs scope 1, 2, 3 emissions, emission reduction opportunities and related cost, carbon market developments and technology advancements.
Update GAR emission baseline and GHG emission reduction cost curve
Regularly coordinate with commercial teams and business development teams to identify opportunities for profitable emission reduction.
Scan for new “bio-economy” business opportunities such as the use of (biomass) waste for the production of value added products
Develop, plan, budget for and support implementation of circular economy projects based on the principles of re-cycling, re-use and re-purpose of resources with a focus on waste avoidance and resource efficiency.
Built and maintain a highly motivated and capable team which can act as GAR in-house consultants for carbon and circular and bio economy developments.

Job Requirements:

Min BSc. Educational Background in environmental studies, Mechanical/Engineering or related field.
Min 12 years working experience in the related field, with proven track record of impact and team leadership capabilities in private sector.
Previous work experience in a reputable consulting firm is a plus.
Technical understanding and knowledge on eg power/electricity production is a plus.
Fluent in English both writing or speaking
Excellent Communication skills and presentation skills.
Being able to build and grow a team.
