What You Will Be Doing:
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced senior executive to build and lead Amogy’s Singapore Country Office. This individual will be responsible for managing all Amogy’s operations in Singapore with a particular focus on the sales and partnership verticals across and the maritime and power generation sectors. Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, the candidate will play a key role in the growth of Amogy in the Asia Pacific region.
- Build and lead the Singapore Country Office
- Develop and oversee a robust pipeline of new target accounts, partnerships, and other qualified opportunities while being responsible for the complete sales cycle
- Structure and negotiate partnership agreements to maximize the value captured and ensure satisfaction of the business partner
- Represent company at industry events, trade shows, and various speaking engagements across the Asia Pacific region
- Work with the leadership teams in U.S. and Norway on annual and multi-year planning cycles, revenue targets, headcount, and other planning needs
- Work cross-functionally with technical, project management, and strategy teams to provide market feedback and drive product development and corporate strategy
- Country business policies and compliance
The minimum requirements we seek:
- 15+ years of leadership, strategic sales and/or business development experience with a strong track record of revenue generation
- Experience in the maritime sector and a strong network of ship owners, operators, shipyards, and regulators. Experience with energy systems or low-carbon fuels is an added advantage
- Understanding of green energy sector, country initiatives, and compliance
- A proven people manager, highly skilled in coaching sales and business development staff
- Self-motivated, entrepreneurial spirit with a strong business judgment and a “take ownership” outlook
- Ability to travel up to 50% of time
