Freedom Solar Power is looking for a Warehouse Associate who will handle inbound and outbound shipments, job kitting, loading modules, and routine housekeeping. 

Job Duties:

    • Assist Crews and electricians with material requests 
    • Assists service department with material requests and locating Returned Merch Authorization (RMA).  
    • Assist Warehouse Manager with Fleet Maintenance
    • Operates various equipment and machines including forklift, pallet jack, and vehicles.
    • Hotshot material and Pick up will-calls 
    • Refill all itemized bags
    • Run recycle and pallet drop-offs  
    • Keep parts cage neat and organized at all times 
    • Reduce material waste  
    • Ability to do data entry
    • Completes any general office and warehouse cleaning
    • Assists with other duties as assigned by Warehouse Manager, Warehouse Operations Manager, and/or Regional Operations Manager (ROM)

Qualifications:

    • Minimum of 1 year of prior warehouse or manufacturing experience, required
    • Valid Driver’s License, required 
    • Prior forklift experience, preferred 
    • Solar warehouse experience, preferred

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

    • Knowledge of basic warehouse safety regulations and procedures 
    • Knowledge of warehouse, logistics, and supply chain management 
    • Ability to meet deadlines
    • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail 
    • Solar and electrical product knowledge a plus
    • General computer skills to include Microsoft and Google office, with basic data entry and excel skills 
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills required
    • Excellent customer service skills required 
    • Possess a trustworthy positive attitude and strong problem-solving skills
    • Result-driven and self-motivated 
    • Must have a flexible schedule  

Physical Requirements:

    • Ability to lift 50-75+ lbs routinely 
    • Ability to bend, stretch, squat, and lift
    • Ability to work in 30-100+ degree weather, as well as in wet and dry conditions
    • Prolonged periods of standing
