Responsibilities:
- Perform stick and TIG welding on carbon steel and stainless steel piping and components
- Execute copper brazing and soldering as required
- Set up and maintain purge systems for stainless steel welding
- Read and work from drawings, isometrics, and welding procedures
- Operate lifts and material handling equipment safely
- Maintain quality workmanship in accordance with ASME, ANSI, and project specifications
- Follow all jobsite safety requirements, JSAs, and company safety policies
Qualifications:
- Need to pass a 6-G weld test.
- Proven experience welding carbon steel and stainless steel
- Experience with copper brazing and soldering
- Ability to properly set up and manage purging for stainless steel
- Lift operator certification or ability to obtain
- Strong safety mindset and adherence to OSHA standards
