Here at Octopus Electric Vehicles (OEV) we’re wildly ambitious about accelerating our mission to become market leaders in EV leasing. We’re focused on not just how we can create a flawless experience for every customer, but also how we can disrupt the market and transition every GB driver to electric.
We’re looking for someone who is creative, enthusiastic and self-motivated, who’s also passionate about our mission. This is an exciting position for a self-starter who wants to play a vital part in growing our visual brand identity and guidelines, helping us to communicate our mission to a national audience in a consistent and engaging way.

What you'll do...- Work with an exceptionally talented and passionate team on one of the planet's biggest problems; empowering people to transition to a cleaner, greener world for future generations
- Focus on a range of large-scale and complex design and marketing challenges
- Work independently, as well as collaboratively with the wider team
- Design for a range of fields across both print and digital e.g. digital marketing, social media, events and merch
- Be a passionate designer, keen to get stuck in and learn from those around you, while being confident in contributing your own ideas too
What you'll need...- A positive, can-do attitude
- An ability to embrace the more ambiguous briefs, ask the right questions, make decisions and communicate your strategy/reasoning to key stakeholders
- A clear understanding and proven track record designing for both print and digital
- To take pride in the details, whilst still being able to deliver at pace
- Highly organised with effective time management skills
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- A love and flare for digital illustration and animation
- Confidence working within Figma and the Adobe suite, in particular Illustrator and After Effects
- Experience in a similar role or a relevant qualification would be beneficial
