The Data Entry Clerk at our Annandale, NJ office will report directly to Green Power Energy’s Director of Operations. The Data Entry Position is for a growing solar company and will be making $40-50k depending on experience. However, no solar experience is required. Green Power Energy is looking for candidates who prefer fast paced work environments and are hard working and have a positive attitude. 40 hours a week in a casual office setting. The Data Entry Clerk will be responsible for applying for and obtaining approvals for solar and solar + storage projects. The solar industry is poised for significant growth and the right candidate will be joining the Operations Team in an exciting work environment.
Responsibilities:
- Be a part of the team that is carrying out the company’s vision, culture and growth plan
- Provide support for the Director of Operations in NJ
- Complete Permit Applications, Interconnection Applications, and State Paperwork for Solar and Solar + Storage Projects
- Receive deliveries and mail as well as make outbound mailings as required
- Place, receive, and screen calls and receive outside guests in a professional manner
- Provide support to the entire Operations Team and Associate requests as needed
- Provide data entry support and maintain company’s CRM as needed
- Actively track and prioritize project tasks needed to be completed on a weekly and daily basis by following up with townships, utility companies and customers as needed
- Utility applications are filled out online and permit applications are filled out by hand
- Send docusigns to the customers for signatures
- Respond to customer and team emails on a daily basis
- All other duties as assigned
- No Solar Background
- Excellent organizational skills
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Must be motivated and ready to work in a fast paced environment
- Ability to interact with others effectively within the team environment
- Ability to take direction, identify problems, develop solutions, conduct analysis independently and in collaboration with others
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks and projects
