Job Description Position Overview The Director, Talent and Organizational Effectiveness reports directly to the EVP, People and Culture and oversees the Talent Development, Diversity Equity and Inclusion and Organizational Effectiveness teams. This critical leadership role is responsible for the development and management of programs, analytics, and processes to improve the business, support our growth, advance the DEI strategy, and increase employee engagement and learning. The ideal candidate is passionate about building systems and processes to strengthen the company’s ability to meet its business objectives while creating an innovative, driven culture where all employees can contribute fully to our mission. This leader will help ensure the company has the right talent, with the right skills and capabilities, in the right structure to drive organizational performance. This leader will work closely with business leaders and leaders in HR to address business priorities and challenges. Responsibilities Build the Organizational Effectiveness function and lead the Talent Development and Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Teams. Organizational Effectiveness: Invenergy is a growing company in a growing industry. The OE Leader must work closely with business leaders and HR peers to identify OE design initiatives that enhance employee engagement, support company growth, and add to Invenergy’s ability to meet our ambitious goals. Work with senior leaders to create, track and provide organization-wide updates on the Invenergy Company Goals. Lead the development of measures to help support company growth and measure overall effectiveness. Use data to best articulate gaps and propose new initiatives. Leverage Culture Amp to survey on various topics such as overall engagement and DEI; deploy targeted surveys as needed. Manage people related governance forums for the company (Quarterly Resource Review forum, etc.) Talent Development: Advance our Learning and Development strategies across the Corporate and Services organizations with a particular focus on: Leadership Effectiveness and Onboarding. Set stretch goals, measure progress. Revitalize our Performance Management System and ensure Invenergy Company Goals are embedded within all levels of the organization. Capitalize on the 360 leadership assessments to grow leadership effectiveness and heighten employee engagement. Help our leaders to hire & develop great talent. Diversity, Equity and Inclusion: Advance the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion strategy. Bring forward best practices and identify opportunities and ideas to strengthen our existing strategy. Track our progress, update the DEI Committee, and ensure that we are communicating progress on DEI initiatives to the right audiences at the right cadence. Oversee the management of the six Invenergy Affinity Groups: Invenergy+, Black and Brown @ Invenergy, Invenergy Veteran’s Network, Invenergy Women’s Network, Invenergy Sustainability Network, and the New Energy Workers (NEW) Network. Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree required 5-6 years of work leading organizational effectiveness strategies Experience working in a growing company and building scalable programs from inception to implementation is a plus. Experience working in Talent Development, DEI, or corporate strategy is valued. Experience working in the Clean Energy industry is valued. Excellent collaboration and communication skills with experience working cross functionally and demonstrated ability to build rapport and influence across teams. Strong project management skills to lead highly complex, organization-wide initiatives.
