We're looking for a highly motivated accounts payable specialist, to join our fast paced and growing Finance team as an Accounts Payable Team Lead. The role is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices and dealing with internal and external customers.
Reporting into our Accounts Payable Manager you will have progression within the team and we will support your growth and qualifications too!

What you'll do - Support a team of accounts payable specialists
- Review of invoices, expenses, payments runs and creditor creations
- Ensure scheduled payments including GL allocations are correct and adhered to
- Delegate queries and tasks to relevant team members
- Support with any stakeholder escalations
- Help with adhoc general finance admin within the team
What you'll need- A degree in accounting, finance or equivalent with a 2:1 or finance or accounting experience
- Previous experience working in within the energy industry is ideal but not essential
- Good tech skills particularly with Excel
- To be target and deadline oriented, able to work in a fast-paced environment
- To be a real team player
