What This Looks Like (Responsibilities and Deliverables):
- Manage the Accounts email inbox
- Keeping on top of our duties, payments and correspondence with the tax office, Companies House and other regulatory bodies
- Liaising with our Accountants to ensure all necessary information is provided on time
- Recording information necessary for employees and contractors, such as sick days and holidays
- Maintaining the shared calendars and diaries
- Accounts payable and receivable
- Other admin tasks such as filling out forms, applications, booking of meeting rooms, etc.
- Supporting other team members with their admin tasks as necessary
Who We Are Looking For:
- Experience working in an office environment, managing relationships with staff, contractors and service providers
- Strong social skills and the ability to work in a team
- A very organized person, able to work independently
- Native or fluent in German and fluent in English
- A good understanding of employment regulations in Germany (desirable)
- Proactive mindset and readiness to take ownership from day one
Please note: while this is a remote role, it comes with some necessary ad-hoc on-site duties. That is why we will only consider candidates who are located in Berlin.
