Summary of Role:
SunPower is seeking an Originations Manager – for our residential solar loan business. In addition to being accountable for the growth and profitability of our financial products, the Manager will obsess over the customer experience (both dealer and homeowner) and will be passionate about making solar easy and affordable for millions of Americans.
You will be responsible for monitoring day-to-day originations activities, handling escalations, and proposing process improvements that will benefit our financial products business. You will primarily be working with our team in the Philippines but will also coordinate with other Originations teams in Austin.
As an Originations Manager, you will work closely with a variety of business functions ranging from Sales, Marketing, Finance, Operations, and Product Teams, and coordinate execution across these functional groups. The Originations Manager role is among the most challenging and rewarding. We are looking for a highly talented and driven individual who is excited to take on this challenge.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:- Manage and develop procedures and policies to ensure compliance with financier requirements along with state and federal requirements.
- Be responsible for the key metrics that drive customer satisfaction for both our dealers and homeowners.
- Manage software tools that support our originations activities.
- Work with and monitor vendors to ensure on-time delivery of products and changes, as needed by the business.
- Regular meetings with financiers to ensure our originated products run efficiently for our customers and can be funded without delay.
- Other duties and responsibilities as needed under SunPower Financial.
Required Qualifications:- 5 years of experience in product management, project management, or consumer finance.
- Experience in residential solar or consumer financing is preferred but not required.
- Educational: Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, engineering, or other quantitative discipline preferred.
- Strong work ethic and ability to deliver high-quality results in a fast-paced work environment.
- Detail-oriented and organized with superior analytical abilities.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to think creatively to solve complex business and financial problems.
- Superior knowledge of MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- SalesForce experience preferred.
